I went into Washington DC and did the Monuments by Moonlight. I got some great pictures but the views were so much better in person.
I started my adventure by taking the
Metro into Union Station and then got
on the trolley for a two and a half
hour tour.

The tour guide was hilarious and made the trip fun. We drove by the Capitol and around the Mall. We saw a whole bunch of softball, soccer, and volleyball games on the Mall grass. Then we drove by the Jefferson Memorial on our way to our first stop

Our first stop was at the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial and The Vietnam Wall. My trip to DC last spring did not include stopping by the Korean War Memorial so it was something new and exciting. I also found a family member on the Vietnam Wall...very touching. Honest Abe was right where I left him last year--such a magnificant sight!
