We are out at Coney Island. We got a glimpse of the volleyball tourney and are heading toward the carnival.

Amateur Night was a little surreal and really amazing! There were some great Michael Jackson dancers and quite a few good singers. We had great seats and were surroinded by friends and family of people up on stage. Capone was the MC and did mini comic routines in between acts. We survived Harlem and we are going to tackle Central Park and Fifth Avenue today.

We are in Harlem at the Apollo Theatre at Amateur Night. It is a tribute to Michael Jackson and it is crazy on the streets and the theatre...forgot how many good old song MJ had.

Whataday!

Did you see us on the Today show this morning? Probably not since we were sleeping. We made a last minute choice to not get out of bed at 4am this morning. We had breakfast at an old fashioned diner where the waiters and waitresses sing as they worked. We did the Uptown double decker bus tour and then went down to ride the Staten Island Ferry. We had lunch at Grand Central Station and now we are at Yankee Stadium. We waited out a 1hr rain delay but we have good outfield seats. They have Garlic Fries here...but not as good as Safeco. Good Day and tomorrow will be busy too concluding with Amateur Night at the Apollo !

We went on a harbor lights cruise tonight and watched the sun set over the skyline and the Statue of Liberty. We are exhausted and heading back to the hotel for the evening.
