Update

Multnomah Falls

Tea Party for Trueline
Life is busy but I am enjoying my new apartment and it is beginning to look like a home now. I am still waiting for my dining table and chairs but I have a loaner from the furniture store for now. My couch is so comfy that when I fall into the corner seat it takes a lot to get me back out. hehehe The zebra chair is becomming more comfortable and I find myself in it while I am on my computer. It is a big weekend at the church and I am working on a 30' scrapbooking project...I hope it meets their expectations! I have not really taken any pictures lately but I will this weekend. I played in a volleyball tournament this past weekend and had a lot of fun...something along the lines "..if I only knew in high school what I know now" I think you can get better with age in volleyball. I am sore every Wednesday but it is fun.

Road Trip!!

The last few weeks I have been moving into my new apartment and trying to keep up with the social calendar...not easy tasks. I got some help this weekend and moved a bunch of things into the apartment but you can see that it will be a chore to put it all away. The rest of my furniture is supposed to arrive this week so one more big push and I can start relaxing once I get home from work.
Melissa and I took a road trip to Portland and did some shopping, ate at Sweet Tomatoes, and visited with both of our families. We are relaxing now on preparation for a busy week, or a few busy weeks.

Balloon Rally

I went with my Aunt Mickey to the Prosser Balloon Rally a few weeks ago. We left town a few hours before I usually wake up and it was still rather dark when we arrived.

I was getting pretty cold and wondering why I got up so early when the trailers started opening and people got to work setting things up. I learned quite a bit about hot air balloons and know that I want to ride in one some day!!!

It was so spectacular watching them fill with air and then lift off the ground!
We both were just snapping away with our cameras and running around to different balloons! They slowly began to take off and they left a stream of balloons as more and more would prepare to leave the ground. !

We were having so much fun watching them, but we had to leave. We followed the path the balloons were taking and got some more pictures along the way. We finally made it back to Tri-cities and I had to change for work since the clothes I was wearing got wet and muddy from the field where the balloons departed. Great morning aided by the prospect of great photos, time with family, and a little Starbucks for the road...and when I got back
