Nikki's Wedding Cake Day 1 & Day 2

I had a quick flight down to Reno and got my rental car lickity split. I got into Fallon around 2pm and picked Kristi and Melissa up. We bought all the supplies to make the wedding cake at Wal Mart and headed to Paula and Mert's to start baking. By the end of Day 1, we had baked 23 cakes.
We got a late start on Thursday...nothing new for me! We got a lot accomplished though. We made filling and assembled all 11 tiers and then made nine batches of buttercream and frosted all eleven tiers and put them in the fridge...thank goodness for a second fridge!

I even got Melissa to do the dishes!!!

A little Air Hockey...

Ok a little air hockey table and two tall people. My dad and I set up Josie's air hockey table for fun and played for a little bit. We had pucks flying everywhere and would collide in the middle since both of our arms could span the whole table!!

Piano--parts

So, I have had my piano for two and a half years and it has not moved an inch and has not played a good note yet! I called in an expert with the hopes that he would tell me that if was worth something, but he let me know that it needed some serious work which would cost more than it was worth. I decided it would be fun to keep the piano and share it with my family...how you say? I am going to take it apart and make things from it...anybody need a shelf or an octive??

July 4th Weekend No. 2

The Dyslands invited me up to Spokane to go boating and to celebrate Ryan's 4th birthday. I drank quite a bit of the Spokane River trying to wakeboard and intertube! It was a great weekend filled with awesome water, a little(lot)of sun, good food, and great company.

4th of July 2007

Because 4th of July came in the middle of the week, I decided to vacation both weekends! The weekend before the Holiday, we went to Hell's Half Acre. We fixed the outhouse (a tree fell on it) and painted it inside and out.

Our three favorite animals that weekend were the ants, raccoons, and chipmunk/squirrels.

A beautiful and relaxing weekend spent enjoying the finer things in life!!!
